Embodied Carbon Monitoring and Optioneering.
Operational carbon reductions can often be achieved through following the energy strategy proposed at the planning stage with little additional thought needed. Embodied carbon compliance requires on-going monitoring and optioneering to ensure that once complete, the scheme can demonstrate how it has achieved embodied carbon reductions and compliance with benchmarks and targets. Let us work with, and upskill your contractors, to make sure that your scheme stays on track.
Construction Stage Certification.
At the planning stage, where certification is involved, new schemes will often aim for a certain standard of the likes of BREEAM, or Home Quality Mark score (amongst others). This will be indicated in the form of a pre-assessment. TwoEighty have in-house certification spanning a wide variety of sustainability led certification schemes. We can assist in providing evidence for, and the submission of construction stage certification.
Circular Economy Sourcing & Urban Mining.
Committing to circular economy targets at the planning stage will mean that you need to then find ways of reusing on-site materials and sourcing new materials with recycled content. We have a large database of material suppliers and contacts to enable ‘urban mining’, to facilitate the procurement of locally reclaimed and recycled materials.
